Walls Close In: A Home Confinement Story
The walls of my home were always like a haven. Now they constrict, a constant reminder of my restricted life. Days bleed together, marked only by the chime of the timepiece and the gnawing emptiness in my chest. Every sound from outside is a cruel reminder of what I miss.
I drift through these confined rooms, searching for some glimpse of hope. The rays that once streamed across my floor now seem distant, and the stillness is oppressive.

Living on Lockdown
Life as we experienced it has drastically altered. The world beyond our doors is a shadow of its former self. We are now trapped within the boundaries of our homes, forced to adapt to a new normal. The days melt, marked by the cycle of online meetings, binging media, and cooking. We crave for the simple joys that were once taken for granted: a walk in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a talk without a screen separating us.
This new situation has brought challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more creative, and more grateful for the simple things in life. As we navigate this uncharted territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are coming.
Freedom's Six-Foot Line
Life behind bars is a brutal reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so reachable, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the burden home arrest of those bars feels suffocating. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Each new day serves as a stark reality that you're imprisoned.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Chains of Liberty
The allure of freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to confinement. This happens when the very notion for freedom becomes manipulated, transforming into a tool for control and oppression.
Authentic freedom demands not only the absence for external constraints but also the nurturing of internal spirit. When this inner base is lacking, even amidst a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves ensnared within the limitations of their own minds.
Ultimately, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to transcend the obstacles that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
